As much as we don’t want to admit it, we are straying away from human contact and getting more involved with technology. Technology offers us a way to connect with so many more people across the world, even if it isn’t face to face. And it is also a great way to keep in touch with those who may not be very close to you physically anymore.
I started doing online fitness coaching because I had moved so many times and clients wanted to continue working with me. You know that once you find a hairdresser, massage therapist, or doctor that you love it is hard to pick up fresh when you move somewhere new. You formed a relationship with those people, they knew a lot about you, and being able to stay comfortable is something we crave as humans. So, this is why I wanted to give my clients the opportunity to continue working with me, even if I was hundreds of miles away.
But even though you have an online coach you trust and a program in-front of you that you know is specific to your needs and goals, it can still be hard to get yourself to do it. You have to be the one to get yourself to the gym, and when there isn’t that accountability of your trainer waiting there for you it can get hard. That is why I started Video Training! What this means is that instead of an online coach to write you a program, or a personal trainer to meet with you every week, you get BOTH! A trainer that meets with you every week, writes you a program, but also works with you in the comfort of your own home! No more gym membership AND online coaching, instead it is all rolled into one and it is there to fit your needs!
Log into Skype or Google hangouts and we will train over the computer. I can then tell you what weights to use, show you the movements and motivate you along the way! My clients that use this now absolutely love it! It’s like having a personal trainer come to your house and work individually with you, but it gives you even more flexibility to workout at the times that you want.
Think online coaching 2.0 – face to face contact without the commute – skipping crowded gyms with grunting lifters – sweating in your pajamas with a trainer motivating you along the way!
